Thumbnails
Thumbnails is very important in my video. What they are doing with their thumbnails is what I think this channel should do with their thumbnails maybe not quite so vibrant on the colors because these are very like your saturation's up like 90 of these it's very vibrant but it's working very well but they have one single subject in almost all of these that are the main focus. I'm thinking with this David's experiments it's all around building a single experiment and so making the thumbnail be a single subject that is like that's it you're focusing on a single subject I think will do a lot of good. I mean a clean backdrop would definitely help if you you know put it up against a white wall or even you know what you could do as well is um set up a space to shoot those thumbnails so people.
Why thumbnails is important
What they'll do is they'll get like um what do they call those like construction boards you can get them at like arts and craft stores and they'll get these you know boards you know multiple colors you can have a black one for the bottom a white one for the top. Whatever you want to do you can always mix and match but this way when you take that thumbnail picture. It isn't just a screen grab out of the video it's a dedicated picture that has a clean backdrop and that way your eyes focus on the subject or like the other channel was showing us it's like a lawn.

It's probably their front lawn and it's just a green plain background and it lets your eyes really just focus on the subject in that thumbnail agree 100 at minimum. If you don't it maybe because it looks like they're you take a match to these things maybe you burn them at the end of the video uh some of them some of them. What you could do is take the existing thumbnails and literally go into your photo editing software of choice and blur the current background. If you want to go back and do anything to these thumbnails this is more advice probably for your next videos um but you have one here that's premiering perhaps you can go in and blur this background because of all this texture it's just the this very texturized little house or well that you have here is just getting lost there's just so much going on and the reason.
I think all of us are kind of interested in the thumbnails here is one. I we think you are too because there is a thumbnail evolution where you've kind of gotten rid of this text. You are just been focusing on the really interesting intricate builds you're doing but two when it comes to this category. I think thumbnails are probably the number one most important thing no one's really looking to build a mini water well that's not something that a typical person would be searching for on YouTube but you would certainly be interested in seeing this content. If it popped up on your home feed and it had a really interesting thumbnail you've built this really cool looking house out of matches. I love in this one you're holding a no this one you're holding the lit torch and you're you know you can you can assume what's going to happen to this otherwise really cool structure that you've made by the end of the video it's not going to be there anymore uh Nate real quick what are your thoughts on premieres we kind of go back and forth on this quite a bit. I'm curious to get your take this video is premiering here in a few days like five days until this premieres at six a.m. um what are your thoughts on on this strategy.
